Last June my wife got news that her father, Billy Ring, had a terminal brain tumor. This was not your average man; this was a 65 year old man who could out work the majority of my 20 year and 30 year old friends. This was a man who gave his all at every single aspect whether it was bird dog field trials, running a successful dairy, becoming an intelligent businessman with outstanding morals and ethics, or even setting up a 100 foot slip and slide up (and participating more than the kids) for the grandchildren. He was an amazing guy and honestly there should be a book with the stories and adventures of Billy Ring but that is to be done another day. The battle was short but I promise that is not due to effort, will or determination to defeat the dreaded disease. I remember Billy telling me he was going to start lifting weights 6 hours a day to prove them all wrong. He even bailed hay and helped with the silage chopping before the weight of the battle got too heavy. We lost him around Christmas.
The next step to this process is helping my amazingly strong mother in law to move forward and secure her future. We are very blessed to be able to help her with this process. This is not a normal business transaction and we will handle the sale like we always do in cases like this with professionalism, love, care and a lot of hard work.
The best way you can assist me with this HUGE FARM AUCTION is to share it on social media, social setting, tell anyone and everyone you know. We will be running it in News Papers, magazines, place signs all over 3 counties, and delivering flyer around the area but with your help we can and will make this the a great Auction.
